How to add a Remote Location?

1: Right click on the RestoreMax icon at your task bar, and select 'Configure'

2: Now click on 'Add New' under 'Available locations for Backup'

3: Now you should see something similar to the follow screen. Please click on the Radio button beside 'Save to FTP Location'

4: At the top of the window, enter a name for this location in the 'Description' field.

At the 'Remote Folder URI' field, enter the remote location information you have been given via the Welcome Letter.

For example, if you were given Site 1. Then you would enter ftp://site1.ftprestore.net

Under the Username field. Enter your full login name.

For example, if you have an account on Site 2 with the account name peter. Then you would enter peter@site1.ftprestore.net

The final steps is to enter your password for your account. Then click ok.

Now you have successfully created an remote backup location !
